Classes available in the YogaConnected Video Library:

Hatha Yoga & Mobility

A functional yoga movement class: integrating strength, mobility, stability, and flexibility. These classes are not about showmanship, getting your legs behind your head, or working up a major sweat, they are about slow mindful movement. Some classes might challenge you in places but most are suitable even if you’re completely new to yoga. Classes also include breath awareness and relaxation techniques.

Chair Yoga

Combining seated stretches and mobility exercises, plus traditional standing postures and balancing exercises. Classes include breathing technique, mindfulness and relaxation. Suitable for anyone who has limited ability or is recovering from injury, wants a gentler practice, or who simply doesn’t want to roll around on the floor!

Gentle Yoga

Calm, gentle movements combined with breath focus. Taking time to slow down and focus on our body and breath with movements that also promote flexibility and mobility. Perfect for beginners.

Restorative Yoga

This healing practice is suitable for EVERYONE and provides deep healing. Perfect for anyone who suffers from stress, feels overworked or overwhelmed, is recovering from injury or has trouble sleeping. A slower paced practice, incorporating props and supports, bringing peace and comfort to the body, mind and soul.

Guided Meditations

Choose from a number of guided meditations, visualisations, and relaxations and take 10-15 minutes to relax and unwind during your day.

Mobility Classes

Focused on increasing the range of movement, strength and overall health of the joints.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional styles of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.

Yoga for Stress

I believe that the vast majority of us, to varying degrees, have become badly disconnected: from our bodies, from ourselves, and from what we truly value. However, there are powerful ways that we can re-connect. If you’ve been battling with your body you haven’t likely turned to it as a tool for learning. Discovering how to learn FROM your body will give you an entirely new relationship to your body and will teach you how to develop self care in the process.

Special Interest Classes

These classes are designed to meet your more individual needs and will aim to cover a variety of issues such as Yoga for Menopause, Digestion, Improved Sleep, Joint health, etc. I am especially excited with this category as it allows me the opportunity to invite other teachers and therapists who specialise in certain specific areas to share their wisdom with us too.
